Gayafores' international career, recognized by the Chamber of Commerce with the Export Award

The company's work contributes to the worldwide dissemination of the ceramics made in Spain

The international career of Gayafores has just been recognized by the Official Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Services and Navigation of Castellón with the Export Award. These awards have a wide range of experience in the province and distinguish the work carried out in favour of internationalisation. In the case of Gayafores , it should be remembered that the company, which was founded in 1897, currently exports its products to over a hundred countries on all five continents, thereby contributing to the spread of the quality brand of ceramics made in Spain.

In this sense, according to the company's commercial director, Aldo Patrone, "receiving this award is an important incentive for us to take our products to new markets, while at the same time contributing to projecting and strengthening the image of excellence of products manufactured in Spain throughout the world".

Award for intense export activity

The distinction granted in this edition of the Chamber Awards is added to those already obtained by the company for its export work on previous occasions, specifically in 1990, 1996, 2004, 2010 and 2014. During the event it was recalled that Gayafores was once one of the pioneering brands in the Spanish ceramic sector in terms of the manufacture of Porcelain, the company's main focus is currently on exports, which account for more than 70% of total production.

The awards ceremony took place at the Chamber's headquarters, during an event that, due to the situation generated by COVID-19, was held in an exceptional manner with reduced capacity and the corresponding preventive measures to guarantee the safety of all those attending.

The authorities attending the gala, both in person and online, agreed that the winning companies "are leading the way to recovery" and highlighted the importance of the role of innovation and digitalisation in overcoming the current context, publicly recognising "the talent, effort and courage of the businessmen and women who are leading successful projects for the future".
